Do you want a top handle? How important is a bag’s weight to you? Do you want a crossbody bag?
The Jumbo weighs a lot but it IS a classic unlike the Trendy.
I'm going to be controversial and disagree with the views above.
I have both bags (in black) and if I bought again, knowing what I know now, I'd definitely go for the trendy and dispense with the jumbo.
I bought the jumbo first (in black caviar with ghw), based on the many reviews I'd read & youtube videos watched!!. I bought into the whole idea of the Chanel classic bag that every wardrobe needs, but I've disappointingly not worn it much. It's too big to be a dressy evening bag and I also feel (for me at least) it's not an everyday bag. The caviar, whilst practical, also doesn't feel nearly as luxurious as the trendy in lambskin, which I felt had a more immediate WOW. I bought the jumbo when it was £3500ish - I definitely wouldn't buy it at the current price point.
The trendy imo feels so much more luxurious and more versatile with the top handle and shoulder strap. If you're choosing between the two - the trendy in my opinion is a much better buy.

If you’re looking for an everyday bag that you will have for many years. Go with a classic and get the jumbo. I love mine!
Get a medium classic flap, perfect size for all occasions and it's a timeless piece, the jumbo can get heavy especially if you're getting the double flaps. I sold my trendy cc because I never use it, something's off with the top handle. The medium flap is my most used bag from Chanel.
Went with 2018 Jumbo silver.

If you got it way under retail, I'd say keep it. The silver imo is more casual and you'll be able to wear it day to night. You can always get the trendy again. Enjoy!
