Chanel Boy new leather lining?

Hi, its been a long time since i looked at chanel bags, but i was browsing the website to see is there anything new thats interesting. I just realised they change the lining of boy bags to all leather now? Cause all my old boy bags are in fabric lining. Any idea since when they change to leather lining?
What you all think of this upgrade?

I only have one small boy and it had leather lining, it’s from 2015. The only fabric lining bag I have it’s my 19 that I thought they did it that way so the bag would be less rigid and keep the price below CF.

My new medium Boy has fabric lining which I hate. It’s one reason I never bought another. I’m happy for the upgrade but worry this may make the larger bags heavier.
