I've been thinking about getting a belt bag, one that can also be worn crossbody. The ones that are being sold now seem so tiny though, I would only buy if it fits my phone. I've seen some vintage ones that are a better size but they don't have chain belts which I would prefer.

Does anyone have a belt bag, are you happy with it and wear it a lot? Or is it a trend that's fading?

I would say a belt bag is definitely more of an accessory than an everyday bag, especially since it fits so little. Style-wise, it’s also not as versatile as a shoulder (CF etc) or crossbody bag (e.g. WOC) that can be used day-to-night, for both formal and informal occasions. If it’s your first luxury bag I will strongly advise against it, but if you already own a few strong “staples” that serves most events and occasions, then a belt bag would be a fun addition. What’s your style like though? Mine evolved to a more feminine style after I graduated and started working full-time, but on weekends I tend to gravitate towards edgier styles hence also curious if a belt bag would be worn a lot etc.

Hi! I have a classic belt bag and I’ve only used it once! It looks cute on but it only fits my ATM , ID and a small lipgloss… which I already knew it won’t fit by big oh phone lol. Honestly I only bought it in lieu of a regular belt! I know sounds weird . But sounds like you would only buy if it fits a phone! I’ve seen cute vintage ones…
