Hi ladies, I just bought a new pair of classic beige and black flats in Newman Marcus. I didn’t go into the Chanel store but went to the shoe department. I put on the black Lambskin with patent toes and the classic beige black ( I already own a pair they are ok but do have marks on them) Myhusband and son told me they prefer the beige black and to just get a new pair. I told them I’m just concerned about marks etc. The associate told me that I should buy scotch guard and put it on them before I wear them?.. Has anyone done this I have never heard that before I’m kind of regretting not going to the Chanel concession in the store and getting advice from the SA.

I’ve used both Colonil Waterstop and Apple Garde Rain and Stain spray. I got them for my bags (not on Chanel caviar but other bags) but use them for my shoes as well.
