Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I have been really loving the look of the Chanel 22 in small and mini as of recently.

Did some looking into it and stumbled upon this video regarding quality issues? Her bag looks to be peeling where the chain meets the leather. Has anyone else experienced this? I only have one Chanel handbag (CCH) and it's a closet bag since it was so pricey and precious to me. I definitely want my next one to be something I can use daily...

I know people from other countries have them. I believe they are sold in Asia. But I am unaware of where can one buy them in US, Europe or Middle East?

There were couple of YouTuber put out a video about peeling issue, one of them has been removed but other is there by Super Dacob, go watch it.

I experienced this with my brand new small 22. There were cracks along the drawstring area and a crack at one of the corners I’d the bottom of the bag and this was straight from boutique. Never worn. I returned because I’m sure it will get worse with use. Very disappointed because the bag has such a great personality.

It really seems like it is a hot or miss in terms of leather quality with this bag. Some people have no ware and tare issues even after regular use while others experience leather cracking from the get go. Unfortunately, I think there is no sure way of telling which bag will ware well and which will not. I actually really like the style after trying it in real life.

I bought my chanel 22 mini in July 19 and have been wearing it for about 2 times now. Today i have noticed the leather is pealing on the left corner size of my handbag. Is this something Chanel can fit? Do you think that was my fault for this to happen. I am very sad right now as this is a very expensive bag. Please let me know your thoughts and all.

If you look for trouble you're going to find it. I'm sure with every bag we all own, there's something wrong with all of them. For something so expensive ( I own a black S22) just use and enjoy it. Otherwise it will make you crazy looking at it under a microscope all the time. It's leather. It will get dinged and scratched. When you bunch it up, I'm sure something is going to happen to it. If you can't handle that, then it's not the bag for you.
Also, YouTubers need something to talk about. And if they haven't bought anything new, then they pick on what they already own. I would not take their word for anything. They're producing content. Not doing a PSA.
