Hi Everyone! I was dead set on purchasing a burgundy Chanel this year but I was disappointed in the actual color. Since looking for the burgundy Chanel 19, I came across the white “shiny” woc and wow what a stunner!! I’m just so worried about this type of leather. Anyone have any experience with this type of leather? Or any input at all? I’ve heard two different stories from SAs. One said it’s patent leather and the other said it’s not thanks!

I just ordered the burgundy Chanel 19 WOC and will arrive tomorrow. I was told by my SA that it's a patent calfskin leather. Wondering too what's the wear and tear of this leather.
I originally wanted that one but it looked more brown than wine. Please post pics once you receive!! I think maybe bc it’s a darker color you should be ok though.
I did receive my burgundy Chanel WOC today. This is my first WOC so I did not realize how small it is. I guess I am used to bigger bags having jumbo classic flap, jumbo Reissue 2.55 and medium boy bag. Just starting to have smaller bags now. You are right! Depending on the light, it could look like brown. Took this picture this evening. Will see how this looks during the daytime. Beautiful bag with different hardware combined. Will take another photo during the daytime.

The leather is shiny but soft patent calfskin. The strap is longer so it's good more for crossbody.
