Chanel 19 Strap

I picked up my bag on Tuesday. I purchased the small black Chanel 19 and noticed the straps had this extra leather hanging out like it wasn’t stitched in properly and it’s on both sides of the bag within the chain. You may have to zoom into the photos. Is this actually normal for the strap to have loose leather within the chain like this?

Thank you so much for confirming. I checked my bag like crazy in store and that was the one thing I missed. Glad to know it’s normal on the Chanel 19.

Is it like this on the Medium classic flap that you know of? I’m picking it up next week and just want to know if it’s normal before going lol.

Large caramel. I sold my dark gray which honestly a huge mistake and a beige. Come to think of it I also had a glazed calfskin pink or gold irridescent.
