It’s interesting that you see the classics as “ostentatious”. I find the 19 much more flashy. I have both CF and 19 and love both. I will say that the Jumbo is too big and showy for me, personally. My large flap is a reissue for a reason!I vote for the 19 (although not necessarily in navy). That bag is a joy to use, looks gorgeous and goes with everything. You will get your money’s worth out of it. So many people buy CFs, but then hardly wear them. Yes, they are beautiful, yes, they are the most classic bags ever, but they are also not practical, quite ostentatious and and too dressy for many situations.
Yes, my large flap is also a reissue, for those exact reasons. And you‘re right about the 19 too - it is more flashy, at least stylewise. But it’s not in the group of those iconic luxury items (or status symbols) that many people would imediately recognize, like a Rolex or a Birkin or a Porsche - or a CF. And it has a much lower price point. So despite the hardware and the CC-closure, personally I feel more under the radar with my 19 than I did with my CF, which I sold. (Still own a classic mini, though.)It’s interesting that you see the classics as “ostentatious”. I find the 19 much more flashy. I have both CF and 19 and love both. I think it’s interesting that, if I didn’t know Chanel, I wouldn’t necessarily assume that the Classics are the priciest. I hadn’t thought of that until now.Yes, my large flap is also a reissue, for those exact reasons. And you‘re right about the 19 too - it is more flashy, at least stylewise.
