What is the sturdiest type of chain that wouldn't look too bulky? I'd like an 18k white gold chain, maybe 17" long, but the pendant I want to put on it is a fairly heavy enameled locket and I don't want to break it. Thoughts?

I use wheat chain with lobster lock for heavy pendants.
