Heartbreaking. And to go through illness and treatment while working so much...I can't even imagine.
I can’t imagine how difficult it was for him to continue filming while going through treatment. RIP
Typical inefficient media, apparently he was 42 not 43 the way all of the press outlets are reporting. Is it too hard for them to look up a celebrity’s birthday? It’s kind of their job.

He gave us amazing films with gorgeous portrayals of strong, inspiring black men while he knew that he could be dying. He allowed little boys and little girls everywhere to see themselves when they watched superheroes on the big screen. He was a very bright light. I can't stop thinking of that and how grateful I am. My heart hurts so badly right now.

Oh, how terribly sad, he was so talented and so very, very young. That is such a nice photo of him.
This is so sad! So young. Crazy to think he was undergoing treatment at some point while also making these larger than life movies. Black Panther was such a cultural moment and it was thanks to his portrayal.
I just realized a couple of odd coincidences. In addition to playing Black Panther, maybe some of you remember Chadwick also played Jackie Robinson several years back in a movie called “42.” It was a very enjoyable film.
Today is Jackie Robinson Day. His number was 42 and Chadwick was 42-years-old.
