I love Bucket bags because I want easy access to my stuff and I don't carry a lot of stuff in my purse so it doesn't matter if it's open, but I think the Speedy is better if you like hand held bags and you could close it with a zipper as well. In addition, if you like to convert your Speedy into a shoulder bag, you could always buy an extra strap.
