Several weeks ago I asked if anyone had seen the new tahitian Michele watches that came in pink or white with or without diamonds. I was wondering what people's opinions were. Apparently the white with diamonds did so well that it is very difficult to get now. Nordstroms and Neimans took off white with diamonds online. Bloomingdales removed:smile1: all 4 from their site. However Nordstroms came out with a black ceramic deco with diamonds from Michele. Any thoughts.......

Okay, looked at the ceramic Michele watches my Nordstrom had in stock today. They didn't have the round pink or white with diamonds. I tried the pink w/out diamonds on and didn't think it looked very good on my wrist (the face sits up quite a bit off your wrist). Then I tried the deco ceraminc watch with diamonds and it looked great! I'm thinking I may prefer/be better off with that style in the black though (they didn't have that one in stock so I couldn't compare the two). I'm wondering if the white ceramic will change color over time. :/ Will keep thinking this over as I continue to save money (I'd been saving money for the pink one; the deco ceramic ones are more money :sweatdrop:).

The black deco ceramic looks great in picture online. Bloomingdales is definitely getting the black tahitian with diamonds in October. It might even be in time for charity day or friends and family when you get either 15 or 20 % off.

My white w/gold ceramic Deco has held up perfectly. It looks brand new. I wear it all the time. I am wearing it today.

That is good to know, thank you. I think, looking at both online I may end up going with the white then. I don't like the black face on the black one, it looks more like a man's watch to me. The white one looked really nice on me when I tried it on yesterday. My only sticking point was being concerned the white band would change color over time.

Rubyjuls, I totally agree with you about the black watch looking like a man's watch. I wish I could take pictures of my white watch and post them. We just bought a digital camera, but we haven't taken the time to figure out how to use it.

Trust me, the white Deco ceramic w/gold is gorgeous. I bought it when it was on NM's website as an exclusive watch for their 100th anniversary. It is pricey, but I believe it is worth the price. The band was too large for my wrist, so I took it to a jeweler to take out some of the links.

You won't be sorry with the purchase.

Finally, I've waited for a ceramic watch by Michele. I've been looking out for a ceramic watch ever since I"ve got my Omega Constellation. I have been hoping for one by Michele as I felt that the current collection they have, though nice are still well, pretty normal. Me being a watch freak besides a bag fanatic, will never fail to browse through watches too. I do love to see pics of TPFers here wearing them to give me a gauge of how they look IRL. I have petite wrist....probably measuring less than 5.5" so it's pretty hard for me to wear big watches which Michele watches tend to be so pics will be great!
