Celine tweed jackets

Hey all - Thinking about buying a Celine tweed jacket after seeing one in person yesterday. It's beautiful and can be dressed up and down. Does anyone have a tweed jacket from Celine? How's the quality and do you not regret your purchase at all? I like the Chanel tweed jackets too but they are about 2x the price and a little too mature/feminine at my stage in life.

I like Celine's tweed jackets for quality but the fit, for me, is too boxy.

I just purchased the black tweed jacket that you are considering and love it. You are correct that it can be dressed up or down, but please know that it is a cropped jacket so definitely on the shorter side. I bought another tweed jacket last season in the red/orange color and wore it with jeans as well as dress pants all Spring so I am planning to do the same with the black. The Chanel tweed jacket prices have gotten completely out of hand so I am turning to Celine more often.

Thanks! Yes, it's a beautiful jacket. We tried it on in store. Was the fact that it's not a silk lining compared to YSL (similar price point) or Chanel a concern for you? That's the only thing I'm hung up on... At this price point I'd expect a silk lining instead of rayon/viscose. Going to get the Celine jacket or possibly this - https://www.ysl.com/en-us/jackets/short-jacket-in-diamond-embossed-tweed-680280Y7D281000.html. Hard to make my mind!

The YSL is beautiful as well and if you prefer one that is silk lined then I would definitely opt for this one. The rayon lining of the Celine does not bother me and as the YSL is nearly $500 higher the 4k price with tax deterred me. In addition, I liked the simplicity of the Celine compared to the four pockets of the YSL as I'm fortunate to have a short Chanel black jacket with pockets.
