Celine Triomphe quality control

Hi everyone, I just bought the medium Triomphe bag. I love it! I was wondering if these stitches are normal. What do you think? All 4 edges on the inside are the same.

I don't have the bag, but because of the irregular nature of the holes where the thread has passed through, and the already apparent creasing in the leather (#6) I don't like the look of this.

Well, in terms of construction and how they're made, if that was part of the stitching pattern/blue print, then I suppose, technically the stitches are supposed to be there.

But in terms of how it looks and future wear and tear, agree with @papertiger it does not look good or appealing. I do not like how much tension there appears to be on those 2 sad little stitches that feeling like the only thing holding that corner edge together. And it looks like they are hanging on for dear life.

I have the Triumph team and the stitching does not look like this. You can tell there is a stitch but you cannot really see the stitching in the corner fold at all.

Is this new? or from the boutique? I agree that it looks very odd. Perhaps return or exchange if you can.

Thanks a lot for the replies! I decided to go back to the boutique and they ordered a new one for me. It’s not perfect, but it looks better than the one they first gave me..
The service in the Amsterdam P.C. Hooftstraat boutique is absolutely terrible so I decided to leave and take this one with me.
I hope I can finally enjoy wearing my new bag!
