I just started a new job and thinking of getting a new bag.. well, just an excuse to own a new pretty! Haha.. I want something that looks classy yet not too elaborated. It must not be heavy as I tend to carry quite a few things. I'm 35 year old.
Considering between Celine nano belt bag and the latest Loewe lazo mini. Please share your views!! Thanks ❤

I may be the only person, or at least one of the few people, on TPF who owns a Loewe mini Lazo. And while I am a big fan of Phoebe Philo-era Celine generally, I do not own the Belt, and never really liked it. So my vote is for the Lazo. It has cleaner lines, is beautifully crafted, super lightweight, and the open top (which can be secured) makes accessing your things very convenient. To me, the Belt always looked a little fussy/prissy, and it seems that opening and closing it could be a bit of a pain. And more broadly, Loewe looks to be on its way up as a brand, while Celine is just getting fussier and fussier and stagnating.

I love the Celine Nano belt and don’t find the opening to be fussy at all (magnetic closure). The nano belt is lightweight and looks great crossbody and lovely handheld as well. I don’t own the Lazo but I did google it and I love Loewe as a brand...especially their puzzle bag. Anyway, while I’m sure both bags are well made I prefer the look of the belt bag.
