Celine Hot Stamp faded

I purchased a Celine Ava bag and looked at it after I undid the wrapping that the gold foil hot stamp on the strap is faded! I haven’t even used it yet but it’s past the return window.

I some reviews that their stamp also faded but I also saw videos of people with 2+ year old Ava’s that have perfect stamps. Anyone with similar experience or tips? should I just get over it…

I know it doesn’t affect the bag use or even the look but I’m just sad because this is my first Celine purchase and was really excited because it’s supposed to be new.

Unless there are other signs of use(?) I don't think it's faded, I think it probably just didn't take in the first place, due to insufficient pressure having been applied to the righthand side.

If I were you and I liked the bag and there were no signs of wear, or damage, I wouldn't let that worry me too much, personally.

Normally I wouldn't be too picky but this fading is quite extreme. It is clearly a manufacturing issue,I'd probably write a polite email to Celine explaining why you may have missed out on the return window.. and if an exchange is possible.

I also would write them and tell them it seems to be a defect and therefore you want to exchange it under the 1 year warranty window.

This is for sure a defect. I think you're safe in demanding it to be replaced of repaired.

As long as the bag was purchased from a Celine boutique, they will be able to pull up the invoice.

If you have the receipt I can't imagine they'd refuse to help you @Lovingpurseslala
At worst- they'd ask a repair fee and at best replace the bag.
