I was thinking about the canvas version of it (great price point and durable ) until I tried the leather ones! The black stole my heart but I’m thinking about the tan one since it’s better suited for the warmer seasons. I only wish current Celine had a less orange/brick tan and more deeper cooler toned browns like Old Celine. That tan is very nice but too orange-ey for my taste.
The leather though was a pure pleasure and easily outweighed my desire for the tougher feeling canvas. The slouch was perfect. Just perfect. I also tried both size Romy bags but Heloise was a better proportioned style IMHO. I didn’t want to let it go and most probably will be getting it this year. It’s at the top of my wishlist right now.

I’m also interested in this bag but worry it might be too big for my petite frame (5’3”). My SA let me know that there is a small size that is going to be available soon with removable shoulder and crossbody strap. It has been released in Asia/china but not US yet.

Omg! The small is so cute. It seems like quite a noticeable size jump from the regular size and makes me wonder if the slouch will be the same. It gives mini Evelyn vibes.

I tried them on today and it is in two new leather colors a dark gray and then a blue gray. They are very similar I don’t know why they did that. I feel the cognac color is so orange. The leather is a dream but I’m looking for an everyday bag so most likely interested in the medium in canvas. What do you think? Does it look ok on me btw it has like four holes on each side to adjust it.
I saw the leather heloise in store last month. The cognac didn’t strike me as orange-y in-person. I thought the bag felt super lightweight though, like maybe the leather was thin. I guess a lot of people like a lightweight bag, but it didn’t feel substantial enough to feel luxurious IMO.
I agree it was very lightweight and I felt the leather was very thin. I don’t think it would be sturdy my friend went in today and they said that they do service the bag complementary for two years twice a year. I thought that was odd that they told her that they must know that the bag is going to need service to maintain.
