Strange that you ask as I was about to post a photo. Technically, the guy is holding his girlfriend's bag. I think it is a risk that is worth taking if you can pull it off. It might work with the croc emboss and even more when it is all black. Just not with the wings tucked in.
My advise is to wait for Fall and Winter selections to drop. Those are way cooler and effortless.
