I was dead set on getting the large classic box, unfortunately, the quality issue I kept on observing has discouraged me from getting one. However, the simple cabas has never been more attractive! The problem? I can't decide on the style. The vertical, horizontal, or the gusset? Any idea/experience with them?

Vertical: the "original", more streamlined

Horizontal: longer straps for shoulder carry

Gusset: zippers for versatility and a flashier look

I can't decide, I like them all! But might not things be too difficult to find all at the bottom of such a long tote? There seems to me to be a lot of wasted vertical space.

LOL I keep editing as I think more baout it. I like the zippers, but the plain horizontal will stay nicely in style forever.

The zipper version has more structure, stability. The E/W version folds in on itself. A friend and I saw someone carrying a well loved E/W and the sides were absolutely collapsed inwards. The handles were also quite stretched. It could have been from first season and a bit more flimsy than current styles.
