I have recently become addicted to supporting Kickstarter projects and supporting new businesses and female entrepreneurs.

I came across an interesting project for handbags from Cecy & Blake, who are hand painting designs on full grain leather bags. I like the idea of adding some more unique bags to my collection :smile1:

I'm wondering what you think of these, you can see their project and collection at:

I think the one with the dog on the beach and the one with a fox are absolutely beautiful. But practicality wise, these satchels don't quite work for me. I do like the idea of carrying around a painting on a handbag and being able to commission one with personal significance.

I think these bags are a great idea and I too love to support start-ups and women entrepreneurs!
You may also want to check out http://rriveter.com, they are military wives who try to make money for their families while their spouses are deployed. They have an interesting story as well.

Thanks for sharing this site, I hope they do well!

Wow thank YOU for sharing! Rriveter's story is so touching; and what a great idea! Indeed, products made by women for women just make so much sense.
