CDC "Smiley Face"

Does anyone have any solutions into buffing or polishing off the "smile" that's created by the little hoop on a CDC? I know that is inevitable and happens after a couple wears of a CDC but would be nice if I can lighten them or somehow polish them off.

I just ignore mine - I think it is inevitable and as soon as you polish it, more will pop up. At first it bothered me a bit, but now I just ignore it. Sorry, probably not what you wanted to hear...

Don't think it will improve after buffing, smiley is irreversible

I don't think buffing is a good idea esp for ghw since it's only plated. At least, that's what hub told me when I asked to use the bluffing cloth that he uses to bluff his watches .

I just ignore them as well. Intitally I was afraid to wear my CDC's for this reason but it's just inevitable in the design of the piece.
