hello,

I have a 10+ year old classic caviar jumbo classic flap. It doesn’t have the CC or Chanel logo on the inside flap. Was that something that was introduced later on, or do I have a fake? I purchased it over 10 years ago from Saks.

I’ve been out of the purse game for awhile. But, here’s my bag. There is no CC logo on the inside flap, and in the new bags, there seem to be. Is this something that was added much later or did I buy a fake bag from Saks 10+ years ago?!

Single Flaps like yours do not have that CC. Why would you think it could be fake if you bought it from Saks?
I would say the same except that from our archives we have the lady that was arrested for buying real, and fakes and posting the real for sale then sending the fakes. Also was charged for returning the fakes to multiple department stores, no store was safe. Who can know if the bag they bought from Saks was a fake return of hers or not. I'd only think that buying direct from Chanel, LV Gucci stores would be safe.
