Oops, sorry Blue824 - just saw this thread again! My cat is an average sized cat (I think) and she fits in with room to spare; it's probably the size of a smaller litterbox. I'd say if you have a larger cat just don't use the hood and it should be fine.

Wow. Times change!

Just watched the video, and my only thoughts are, if you have 5 cats, even with the "auto dryer" what happens if one gets caught short just after another one has just been? Can you imagine if it mal functions, and one of them is in there and it turns itself on?? EEKKKK!

The CatGenie actually senses when there is a cat inside so it won't start the cleaning cycle while a cat is inside.
