We are going to be taking a cruise that stops by Monte Carlo for a day and a half. We were thinking of going at night. It’s a Wednesday.

Does anyone know the dress code for women? I mean the ‘real’ expectation, not just that they tolerate you. [emoji12]

I have been there many times and as long as you look good and put together, you are good to go.

I was just there a month ago and I was kind of surprised how people were dressed. I had been led to believe they dressed up a lot but they really didn't look that special. Also, be prepared for the fact that you have to pay to get in. The casino isn't all the impressive in terms of gambling. It's just fun to see it. They don't have craps and blackjack is a losing proposition because of the shoe but I played a few hands just to say I did it.

Oh, and a funny thing that happened to me...I walked up to the ATM to get some cash and there was a young guy in front of me. He obviously didn't have the funds because he kept trying and trying to get money and couldn't get any and finally left.

I suppose there is no special dress code, but it would be not a bad idea to wear evening dress. I don't particularly like it that much because I only play online casinos on different sites, in addition games are also free there, so this is also an advantage. However, it is also worth going to a real casino. There is something magical in it.
