Hi, need some advice here on which bag really suit me and my lifestyle.
Initially, I was attracted to Arco tote and had actually bought it. When I went back to hv an exchange, I try on the black cassette bag and somehow it just looks nice on me and happened that it match my outfit on that day. My husband also agreed that the cassette bag really stand out.
So I got the cassette instead.
So well now, I’m still in a dilemma cos I’m not sure how long the cassette bag can last me. I’m hitting the big 5 next year so I’m not sure if I can ‘carry’ it as the cassette bag do look trendy (you know what I mean) I’m afraid I hv to dress up to carry it and somehow the Arco seems more carefree for my lifestyle.
I’m a very cautious buyer and the bag it’s not cheap and therefore hope the bag can last me a long time.
Hope to hear your thoughts and anyone who own these bag to gave some pointers and their wear and tear.
Thks.

I'm 51, have one Padded Cassette and two non padded Cassettes. I agree the Padded Cassette is a bit trendier, but in a neutral color, it looks more classic.

The bigger question is which one will function better for your lifestyle? Do you gravitate towards shoulder or crossbody bags more frequently? Then go for the Cassette Do you prefer the ability to throw a bunch of items into a bag and go? The Arco will probably work better in that case. Is security an issue where you live? The Cassette will be more difficult for pick pockets. What about capacity? The Arco will hold more.

If you are concerned the Padded Cassette is too dressy for your wardrobe, I would not worry about dressing for the bag. While I think the Padded Cassette has the potential to be dressier than the non padded version, both work great with casual outfits.

Hi, thks for yr feedback and suggestions. Yeah, I think Im more lean to using a shoulder bag more often and nowadays also pack light. Haha, I just don’t know why I’m attracted to the Arco tote but it will be mostly hv to hand carry or on the arm and I’m not sure if I’ll be used to it. Maybe this latest design from BV was really nice that landed me with the dilemma. I really hope to own both thor…
Anyway, thks so much and I will pop by the store again to try on the non padded also.

So I am new to this thread and waiting to get approved to create my own post. I think the padded casette is so cool. But I am torn about if it will date, some bloggers I asked said they think it will. In other ways, I think who cares? We aren't fashion bloggers and uf we love it who cares. What does everyone think?

Capacity is very different looking at the padded cassette vs the small Arco tote.

- What about the arco mini size with a strap? It will hold more, or at least as much, as the padded cassette and is also super care free.
(I am eyeing that one or the mini cabat as a future purchase).

Otherwise, another vote for the flat woven cassette. It is such a carefree, timeless bag in my opinion. I have the one in black, no hardware, suits with everything you wear.

Hi there! I prefer tote bags as they’re versatile. I love the Acro design, but the men’s version in medium (image attached). Choosing between the two is hard. I would probably go with the Cassette design. Padded or not is another dilemma. I hope that helps! IMG_1676.jpeg

Hi hi, I had opt for the padded cassette bag in black. It was really a versatile bag and quite a good match for my lifestyle. I find the weaving was a stand out among other more conventional design handbags and yet not too loud. Sofar had been enjoying it. Haha, but I’m still eyeing the Arco.Thks for all your sharing.☺️
