I think Cartier makes a statement with their own personal packaging! Their not big on leather goods as much as jewelry! Their classic red bag with their personal white paper wrapped boxes with a red string is so so classic and statement that it stands out! Same with Hermes, their not big on special bags and packaging! Their classic shopping bag and box is what makes them stand out! These 2 companies are in a league of their own and do not have to compete with other luxury brands!

Yes, my SA gave me a plain white bag to discourage potential thieves from holding me up because of my purchase and did not want me walking around with a big red bag! So smart and thoughtful of my SA!

Normally, they provide you with the white bag covering the red bag so you get both.

Same here. I don’t want to be a target so I bring a Longchamp bag and throw in the item. I don’t even want it wrapped since I end up throwing out the wrapping anyway.
