I just read this really interesting story on the nytimes.
Someone was able to purchase two pairs of the clash diamond earrings that retail for around $13k for $13 each from the Mexico website.
Cartier tried to cancel the order and offered gifts, but the customer rejected their offers and cited a consumer protection law where they have to honor the price he bought them for. He ended up getting both pairs delivered!
