Hey guys, I recently purchased a Santos Dumont Quartz watch from the boutique, I noticed that it came with a warranty card inside and they had me activate the extended warranty online, but my watch came with no manual or care booklet. Upon watching some YouTube unboxing videos I noticed some people get them along with their warranty card, and some don't. Should I ask for it or should I just let it be?

I just bought the new TF in small SS from the boutique back in August, I didnt get any manual or care booklet as well, not sure they come with it or not.
^Same. No manual was provided when I purchased my Tank online this summer. No formal certificate either. Just the little plastic warranty card was included. A very bare bones experience.
When I asked customer service, they said the warranty card now serves as proof of purchase and authenticity. And they refer you to the website for watch operating instructions.

Wow, that's strange but I noticed the same when buying watches. So unlike other watch manufaturers.
It didnt bother me though, its a simple operating quartz watch anyway n my SA will always be there to assist if I hav any prob with it. I did get the travel pouch and the cleaning kit (had to ask for it), thts all I care for 
Hi! I ended up asking out of curiosity and they told me the same, apparently all the information is on the Cartier website.
Yes, the old paper warranties and paper manuals are becoming a thing of the past. I like the old paperwork and manuals, but I'm sure companies view an online manual as a way to save $ since now they won't have to pay to print manuals and related paperwork. Think of all the money they save if they don't have to provide manuals for the thousands of watches they sell every year.
