The blue straps really make the blue cabochon pop too!

Do all your straps have those quick release bars so you can interchange yourself? Curious how easy it is to change and if that means it's easy to swap for non-Cartier straps too
Another strap that again changes the look of the Tank completely. As someone said, one watch collection. Love the vibrant color

Thank you!

All my straps are original except for one, which also has this quick release system. It’s from Delugs, quality is ok but not great - it’s a calf one, and it started to chip rather quickly. I know there are other strap vendors that sell straps with this system, such as Molequin.

I have a few straps now and even bought an extra buckle to make it easier to change at least 2 in rotation. The quick release system is just brilliant, but when you need to change the buckle as well things get more complicated (not too bad, but a bit annoying if you’re in a hurry).
Hope this helps.

Super easy to change out on my Tank XL. This is a Cartier strap.

Thank you both! The one time I was able to try on the tank must, I was a bit surprised I was able to see the quick release button while the watch was on (I could see it between the watch case and strap). The SA said it's because the straps are new and stiff so it hasn't softened to my wrist.

I guess if they had straps without this quick release button it'd make it harder for us to interchange ourselves without proper tools

Interesting, I personally never noticed it. That said, croc straps seem softer to me than calf. Quick release is definitely worth it, it’s great if you like changing the look of your watch with straps.

Hello Cartier watch aficionados, I'd like to get your insight on available choices of Cartier Santos medium watch strap for the quick switch model? My SA showed me 3 colours for the calf version (the brown that came with the watch, a blue on the darker side and a purple on the darker side as well) and mentioned there are more color choices for the alligator strap version. I am not that into alligator strap so am wondering if there are actually more choices but perhaps my SA isn't divulging because I mentioned I'd buy elsewhere in the world if they are available. Thanks!

Hi! I don’t have photos of all their strap options, but as far as I remember the calf color and texture choice indeed is not as broad.

If you go to the Cartier service center, they should be able to show you the full catalogue to pick and choose.

Is anyone aware if Cartier makes a 1/4 link for watches? Special order perhaps? My 33mm ballon bleu spins around and moves onto my hand with 2 full links removed. With 2 1/2 links removed it sticks to my wrist :annoyed: I love it but the fit drives me a little crazy.

There's no service centre where I'm at, nearest probably is Singapore but I'll probably check out Cartier stores when I travel soon. Thanks for letting me know

Hello all, looking to purchase my first Cartier watch, Tank must small size.
I was wondering whether it would be more cost effective to purchase the Tank must with metal bracelet and then separately buying a leather strap to interchange, rather than purchasing the leather strap model then buying the metal bracelet afterwards.
It seems that the cost of the leather model and separate metal bracelet are much costlier than the metal bracelet model with leather strap.
Thank you for any input!
