Cartier watch - no more authenticity card

Just purchased a watch and it didn't come with authenticity card, just a warranty card with serial number on it. I asked my SA and he says time piece only comes with warranty card with serial number on it. Is this normal?

I think it's registered electronically

Its registered electronically, and also if you buy it at the boutique, the stamp that normally goes on an authenticity certificate for jewelry gets placed on the front page of the warranty card or owners manual book.
