Lucky me, my husband's Christmas card to me said he wants me to buy that Cartier 2 diamond white gold Love necklace I've been eyeing! However, it's no longer available online and says "low stock" at every boutique I check and that I need to call. Sadly I don't live near any of them. Then I decided to look at couple of other necklaces I had saved in my "wish list" but they are listed as out of stock. Then I did a search for all necklaces which for me, in the US, right now says "312 models" but when I select "available online" only thirty are displayed.

Does anyone know if this is a normal post-holiday online/in general stock level and if so, how long it takes for them to be replenished? Or is this something else?

I think it’s a mix of post-holiday sales combined with low inventory due to the pandemic. If I were you I’d call customer service and ask if they could locate the necklace for you at a boutique and if it could be shipped.

I have an SA (online) I could ask but don't know if I will receive the same level of service if it ships from a boutique to me since I would be dealing with the boutique directly, I assume, and not her. I've never done this with Cartier but I did multiple times with Tiffany and it never went well because I received shopworn/damaged pieces. I'm willing to wait to see if the online supply is replenished, but just wondered if people buying from Cartier longer than I have have seen this happen before. (I'm new to Cartier as of last year after being loyal to Tiffany for many years until last year when I resolved to never buy from them again due to their Not Your Mother's Tiffany ad campaign.)

I’ve noticed stock of bracelets are low too. Most sizes online say call to inquire. But I think January after the holidays is usually when stores will replenish, especially as Chinese New Year is another hot time for luxury shopping.

Hi all! Also was curious about this.. looking to purchase my first love bracelet in small and was disappointed in it not being available online in any size or metal (I don’t live near a boutique!). I called their CS and they said almost all things would be back in stock in 1-2 weeks.. yay!
