In celebration of our 18 years of marriage, me and hubby recently got a new pair of wedding band.

initially we ordered Hermes wedding band but it did not plan out the way we would like them to be. They were too dainty for my hubby.

so instead we went next door to cartier and hubby picked out love band.

I was never into love band or bracelet because lots of people have them. But ever since i got the ring, i started to fall in love with it.

now i wanted to add a love bracelet too!

i am deciding between the thin version of 6 diamond or 10 diamond to match my wedding band with 1 diamond.

but i also tried on hermes cdc white gold bracelet too. The width and weight is perfect. It is unique that not as many people wears it. And it suit my dress down day styles well. Although i normally dress up for work.

shall i go for
6diamond thin for the touch of love design?

10 diamond for the full blink and maybe less of a common pick?

or hermes cdc: a lot less people wears it

all in white gold

Congratulation on your anniversary! My vote is for the Love bracelet—the meaning behind the Love bracelet is more representative of anniversaries, weddings, love for each other or one self, etc. I have a number of Hermes items but only a few silver jewelry. I also have a few exotic CDC bracelets. However, I don’t personally consider H bracelets for an anniversary or significant life event. To me their jewelry feels more of a day to day jewelry but that’s just my personal opinion. As for the 6D or 10D Love bracelet, you’ll have to decide whether you want to have a bracelet that shows the screw motif or not. Some members here feel the 10D doesn’t show the true Love design as it doesn’t show any screw (except at the ends where you screw the bracelet together). I have both types so it’s really a personal preference. Also, I can’t really say that either Love bracelet is common because of all the people I know, I’m the only one that has 3 Love bracelets. None of my friends or colleagues owns any. So when you’re on this forum, you may see Love bracelets abound but they’re not as common in the real world as you may think.

Go with whichever bracelet/brand makes your heart sing and you won’t regret it.

Thank you so much for your feedback!
So the bracelet is not going to be part of our anniversary celebration. The ring was.

that ring created a need for me to find something matching lol

but you are right! It is a classic bracelet To mark significant life event! And I chose love bracelet initially because of that. Then for future anniversaries, i could add to the collection.

in my office girls are very into luxury fashion. Maybe that’s how i feel love bangle is common and opting for cdc. But hermes is common in my office too. SoI dont know haha.

i bought exotic CDC before and loved it. But it does not fit my day to day office outfit. And i did not wear it a whole lot. White gold cdc works better.

and yes. I am posting on the cartier site. I guess inside of me i am truly leaning more towards cartier for the meaningfulness of the bracelet.
Choices choices choices

I wear a YG regular love and RG CDC daily and despite loving them both to bits, I’m partial to the CDC. Something about the movement of the O ring as I move my arm brings me delight. And though I don’t mind the ubiquity of the love, the uniqueness of the CDC makes it stand out. It’s also a tad edgier. Whichever you decide, you can’t go wrong with either one!

I actually prefer the Hermes CDC. I appreciate the uniqueness.

And I’m a bit biased because I prefer original love bracelets over the small love bracelets. (Though I understand if it’s something you want the convenience of taking off easily)

But if you haven’t done so yet, try them on in stores with your regular/daily jewelry pieces. Sometimes that’s all it takes to make a final decision (that’s how it was for me). If you still can’t decide, take photos to compare and think about later!

Congratulations and happy shopping!

Yes i have tried them all in the store and still like the thinner version better.

i am torn between love n cdc. Without my newly added wedding band i will for sure get cdc. But with the wedding band i thought i need something from the same line to match.

but maybe i dont? Lol

Got it. For your aesthetic are you more of a matchy-matchy person? Do you like to coordinate certain items for your outfits? Like matching the color of your shoes to the color of your bag. Matching the color of your bag hardware to the color of your jewelry. Or matching similar styles or colors of accessories or jewelry in general?
If so, the I can see why you may be drawn to getting a love bracelet to match your love ring.

That aside, I too had a similar feeling, but it was the opposite. I was thinking if I should get the love ring to match my love bracelet lol. But I found out that I don’t like to be that matchy-matchy. Gives me a weird feeling everytime I tried to do that sort of look. So I decided against it.:P

Hope that gives you some food for thought. They are both beautiful classic pieces so I’m sure whichever one you decide on will look lovely on you!
(Though if I had to decided btw 6 vs 10 diamonds, I’d go for 6. For me, 10 diamonds loses the screwhead design that Cartier is so famous for and I can get a 10 diamond basic bangle from my local jeweler.)
