Cartier Tank Must - Small vs Large

I’m having a dilemma - I’m purchasing a Tank Must and cannot decide on the size. Originally, I was looking at the Large and then compared it to the Small in the boutique and am now confused. I’ve read that the Tank is supposed to be on the smaller side, but I don’t want it to be too small. I feel like my wrist (16”) is so that both could technically work, but I’d love others thoughts on the size. For reference in the photo, Small is on the left and Large is on the right.

I like the Small. The watch is supposed to (in my opinion) have an elegant, classic look, which the Small does on your wrist. The Large is sort of going for the "modern" chunkier/massive look, which takes away from the classicism. I'm sure this is highly subjective though!

From an onlooker's POV, I think you could go with either one.

The Small looks more classic on you and the Large more oversized and fashion forward.

I like both, but prefer the large on you.

I prefer the small on you. It looks just right. I would only choose the large if you tend to go for a bolder look because I feel it is a bit oversized on you. It's a preference.

I have very tiny wrists and I prefer the large and I have this exact watch in large.

Thank you all for the advice! I decided to keep the Small to be more on the “classic” side of things. I still like the Large, but I think I’ll eventually get a Ballon Blue for a larger statement watch.
