Hi! So I've talked my parents into getting me a new watch for my 21st birthday but I'm having trouble deciding which color to get. I know I want a Cartier Tank Francaise Small but I cant decide between the gold and SS! Price isn't an issue so thats not a deciding factor. I'm leaning more towards the SS because I don't know if the gold is to old for someone my age. What are your opinions on that? I don't want the two tone either because I have a Rolex Lady Datejust in SS and Gold and I want my Cartier to be a single color. Please help and give your opinions!!!

I had the same dilema when choosing my Tank Francaise a few years ago. I got it in the large size and (thankfully) went for SS and never regretted it. It looks so "fresh" in SS. Good luck whatever you choose, it's certainly a beautiful watch.
A Tank Francaise in gold is one of my dream watches so I'd vote for that! However, I love it in SS as well. I don't think you can go wrong with either. I hope you get a chance to try them both on, I bet your instinct will tell you right away which metal is the one for you. Good luck and post mod pics when you get it! I generally don't like all gold watches as I think they are a bit much (for me anyway 
) so I say go for the SS. It's so crisp and lovely!
