Hi everyone,
I'm close to making my first Cartier purchase but am torn between the Steel Tank watch and the Small JUC (no diamonds as I'll be wearing it with my tennis bracelet).
I currently own a Longines and a Tag Heuer but am still attracted to the Tank. Wish I could have both but alas at the moment can only have one. Which would you guys go for? This is a milestone birthday gift from hubby so I want something that will still feel special for years to come. Thanks in advance.

If you and your husband decide on the Tank, would you rotate wearing your watches?
I've realized that after my husband bought me my Panthere as a wedding anniversary gift, that I just pretty much stopped wearing all my other watches and my Panthere is basically my forever everyday watch. I feel a little sad for my other watches but I cannot help but love to wear the one he gave me.

Between the two. Personally I'd go for the watch. I think you'll find it a little more substantial than the small JUC.
(Also I'm biased and I prefer the regular JUC over the small JUC.)

If you still finding yourself attracted to the Tank, then I suggest get rid of that itch and get the Tank! :biggrin:
How about the JUC? Is there a reason for wanting it as well? Has it been on your wishlist?

Thanks for your reply. This is what has made it difficult. I love my Longines. This was a 30th birthday gift which I've worn nearly everyday. It still looks like new. But I adore the tank. It's so stunning. I was eyeing the Juc as I don't own a really 'good' but bracelet.

Got it. Have you gone into the stores to try on any of the items?
Trying pieces on can really make it or break it for people. It was what made me set my heart on the regular love despite going in to try the small love.
If you haven't done so yet, you can go in, try pieces, and take photos to compare. (you can also post photos here to get input. photos help everyone a lot.)

Definitely go for the tank! :loveeyes: Thts coming from someone who is more into quality watches than branded jewellery tho, I know u hav the tag heuer n longines but both wont compare to the cartier tank :graucho:

My opinion may difference.
From my experience I have tag with diamond watch , and do wear it a lot. And later on my DH surprise me with tank watch of course I wear tank more and also later on I got Juc bracelet with diamond ( I already have love cuff with diamond) and our anniversary I got other watches panthere, and I love it even more, and last year I got other surprise with gold Rolex so I hardly reach to cartier watch as I enjoy wearing rolex more.
My points is if you already got tag watch would you consider to add Juc bracelet as your first cartier? Just my opinion Cartier watch price did not going up much like Juc bracelet...and also you can wear bracelet with your tag watches to start with.
Which ever you choose so is Cartier always classic and time less.
Please update us which one you go for.

Being not really a watch-person, I’ll still vote for the watch. Because I have a kick somewhere you really like the watch! And also if the choice is limited by these 2.

Agree with @lill_canele to try the rest of the bracelets, if you have not.

Just in case you may not know yet, a tennis bracelet (or some soft chain bracelet), may get hooked with a juc. My friend’s stack does that. Not sure if it happens to everyone because it also depends on the fit of the bracelets. But it may just be a minor thing for most people.

We shall wait for your update.

I love both. So here is my advice. Stop adding to the list. If you pick one of those other things, you’ll regret it. Now, go to Cartier and try them both on. See which one speaks to you. Ignore all other options (yes, including your husband’s). Select based upon your response And enjoy your beautiful gift.

I agree. Definitely go to the boutique and try both on and see which one speaks to you. You may be surprised with your choice, because once you put them on, you'll know. Good luck!
