Hi everyone I need some help. I just purchased a Cartier solitaire necklace online from Japan company. I looked it up and I believe it’s called the love support. Not sure what’s the difference between that and the 1895. Does anyone know? Have you heard or know anything about the love support necklace? I ended up paying $1500 for it and has GIA certificate for it the quality is amazing it’s E/VVS2 . What are your thoughts? Price and quality worth it? Did i overpay?

Hi, the love support necklace is just the Japanese name or term for the 1895 necklace. There is no difference besides the name. It is actually the same product. I believe you paid a pretty fair price for the specifications of the GIA Diamond and for the Cartier brand name. I personally enjoy preloved and vintage shopping in Japan. Most of the items I purchased were in very good/pristine condition and with a good price. Enjoy wearing your new necklace. The 1895 necklace is so simple and elegant. How many carats is your necklace?
Oh that makes sense I wasn’t sure what it meant. I got the .25 in yellow gold. I think I got a good price. I was looking at the D’Amour collection as well but I love the solitaire and the GIA quality was amazing so I couldn’t pass it up.
.25 is just the right size for daily wear. So dainty yet still visible from afar due to Cartier’s sparkly chain. I think you made a great choice choosing the 1895 instead of the D’Amour one since the D’Amour necklace does not come with a GIA certificate. However, both the 1895 and D’Amour necklace are beautiful. It really depends on what style you prefer. Some people prefer bezel set diamonds while others prefer prong set diamonds.
I finally recieved my necklace yesterday and it’s gorgeous!!! Perfect size and the sparkle is amazing the diamond and the chain 😍
I still hope I paid a good price 😂 do you know how much the .25 cost retail? I can’t see online cause it says I have to call in.
Enjoy your new necklace! It looks absolutely lovely on you. I do not know the price of the 0.25 necklace as the price varies greatly depending on the specifications of the diamond (4Cs). Perhaps you can try to call or email Cartier Customer Service for the most updated price list of Cartier diamond necklaces.
