Cartier Small Pave lock issue

I just added the small pave rosegold. Does the locking screw in one side continously rotate? It's doesn't lock like my normal sized love bracelets. Thescrew keeps continues to turn on this small one. Please advise if this is normal or not. Thanks everyone.

It rotates continuously, either direction.

When the lock screw aligns, it’s locked. When not, it means it’s unlocked. Its locking mechanism is totally different from regular love.

This confused me at first also. You can screw it around and around until the end of time, which I did at first! You just turn it a quarter turn to lock, quarter turn to unlock (screw line being sideways vs upwards). The mechanism is different than the regular Love.
