The true color of white gold is not as luminous or "bright white" as some people believe to be because they're often rhodium plated.

For Cartier, I believe any white gold jewelry with no diamonds is not rhodium.
Once the white gold incorporates diamonds, they will rhodium plate it.

I personally don't mind and mostly prefer the actual color of white gold. I also find it annoying to re-plate metals.

Like @Swanky said, it's really up to what you think.

If the the gray tone or sometimes warm undertone of WG bothers you, you can also consider platinum, which has a cooler tone. (I'm not sure if the small love ring comes in platinum but I know that the regular love ring does.)

I just bought a WG Small Love to stack with my Trinity..it's posted in the "action" thread. You may want to look at some examples posted there!

Yellow gold! Like others have mentioned, Cartier white gold without diamonds will look darker/like stainless steel since it isn’t rhodium plated. I prefer brighter. Ultimately it’s up to you, go with what you love!

Whatever you like best of course, but since you're asking for opinions, I think the yellow gold is particularly lovely. Also, for the Love line, I find that the yellow gold gives a more luxurious look to the hardware vibe of the screws and flat, unsoftened edges of the jewelry. Of the metal colors (in my opinion), yellow gold best provides that balance of "tough" and "luxury" that the line is supposed to convey. The silver tones look more utilitarian and less luxurious (imo).

Depends on your skin tone and what metal you lean towards. I always get everything in yellow gold. Feels more luxurious to me. Unless it comes with diamonds then I get white metals because they accentuate the diamonds.
