Cartier santos leather strap sizing

Hello,

I purchased the cartier green santos in medium size for my father as a gift.

We gave the watch to my dad a few months after purchasing because he was abroad. But later we found out the extra leather green alligator strap that comes with it is very tight on him even at the biggest hole..

I was wondering does anyone have any experience with going to the boutique and asking to exhange for a bigger strap? If so, how did you go about it?

You just go and ask. It shouldn't be a big deal if the strap is new/unused. I had the opposite problem where the leather strap was too small and they just ordered a new smaller strap for me in the colour of my choice.
