Cartier Panthère Watch or Cartier Love Small Bracelet

Which should I get?

Hi everyone!

I wanted to know what should I get? I will say I already purchased the Cartier love bracelet in small in YG already. However, the plan is always to have 2 of them. I don't have a watch yet and really like the panthère watch in the mini size in steel as my first watch before I eventually get it in YG.

Also, if anyone has the mini in any material would you please post as I would love to see how you style it! And if anyone knows if you can engrave the back of the watch, please let me know!

The mini watch is very very small. At this point, it would be to wear it more likely jewelry that use it as a watch.

I'm sorry, I never tried on the mini, but you can look at the small and hopefully can visualize how small the mini is.

Personally not a fan of the love in small. (always preferred regular) However, I can see two smalls stacked together as a nice combo.

I'm usually a: watch > fine jewelry > bags; sort of girl.
This is one of those rare instances where I would choose the bracelet over the watch based on what you're looking at.

Yes it really is mini! lol I actually tried on the small and mini in YG and I prefer the mini. I would be wearing it as more of jewelry than a watch like you said.

That is fair! I think a lot of people prefer the regular over the small love bracelet for sure! I just like small/mini dainty jewelry. I think it suits me better. I have the small juc and small love wedding band, everything small lol Yes two smalls I think are nice as it pretty much is combined to be the same size as a regular.

I voted for the watch before seeing your post, but now I think opting for the bracelet makes more sense, especially since your plan was to have a stack of two. Like @lill_canele, I’m not a huge fan of the small Love bracelet. However, I absolutely love two small Loves stacked together, particularly in the combination of yellow gold and white gold. I’d recommend getting the WG with diamonds to stack with the YG one, as this will create a more cohesive look when you add the stainless steel watch to your arm.

I also tried on the mini Panthère watch and am considering it. I didn’t find it overly small; while it’s definitely not big, it doesn’t feel tiny either. It has the appearance of a substantial bracelet, which I appreciate since I wear watches more for style than for telling time.

Thank you for letting me know! I do realize not a lot of people are a fan of the small love bracelet but are when its two or multiple of it! I don't know why but I think I just suit all the small and mini things from Cartier or its just my personal preference.

I would be getting another YG if I was to do another small bracelet. It sounds strange but I'm actually a YG person and all my jewelry is yellow gold. However, with the watch I don't mind it being stainless steel. I do prefer the YG panthère watch but that will take me awhile to save up for and honestly would like to have it as a gift from my future husband lol I think as my first watch and because I love the mini panthère watch so much, I'm okay with getting the steel one.

Thank you for sharing a photo! I really think you suit the mini! I agree with you, I know some people think its tiny but I don't think so. It definitely has the appearance of a bracelet more than a watch which I prefer that look. Also, i'm very much like you. Wearing watches for style for sure!

I agree with both of you. I personally don't like mixing metals. Like you, I would wear the watch on my left hand and I always wear my cartier love YG on my right.

Thank you for sharing your stack! Gosh, its gorgeous. It definitely makes me want the watch more! I see what you mean, I think because your engagement and wedding ring are YG and the cartier love bracelets are YG, the mini panthère watch stands out. Unless that is the look you want but I think the mini watch on its own on the other hand with your rings looks very nice! and having the bracelets on the other breaks up the stack.

Same! I love the small love.
That is fair! it's definitely not for everyone. Is there any other brand watches you prefer? I was kind of thinking the same to maybe get the watch, however its so hard to not get all of them lol

Thank you for your opinion! I love the small love bracelet. I also personally really love the mini panthère watch. I did try on the mini and small and prefer the mini on me just because I would wear it more of a bracelet. Whereas the small and medium is more of a watch!
