Hi there,

Have been lurking for awhile reading all the wonderful posts....am interested in getting the YG panthere profile ring - does anyone hav eit , do you like and where should I get it - NYC or Europe...?

Also, I completely LOVE LOVE LOVE the panthere line. It looks ridiculous on me because of the size of it though but for those who can pull it off, I am very very envious! I especially love the ring where the head is small and wraps around. I don't care as much for the one where it looks like my finger is coming out of the jaw.

This one makes me purrr....

It will be a little cheaper in Europe but for all the VAT refund/currency conversion charges it may just be easier to buy in US.

Please buy this ring you will be my heroine! I love it so much :heart:

apparently NYC SA says there are only 2 in my size in the US ,so he will try to get one in...having been saving for this for 2 years so am finally ready to take the plunge

Its bigger than the style you like which they said is the most "classic" ...have the SA getting it in for me in NYC but am going to Prague and thinking it might be cheaper there...thing is most stores have to order it in ....or so they say...

The panthere line is so amazing! In my experience with Cartier in foreign countries, it depends on the exchange rate and the percentage of VAT. I would go to Prague and see the price there and if it's cheaper buy it. But if it's more, then come back and get it if it's cheaper here. Cartier just had their price increase so I don't think it will jump anytime soon.

But you risk them not having it in stock though. :crybaby: I'd be so sad if I walked into the store and they didn't have it and it was cheaper!

The SA in NYC said he will check Prague and the pricing for me , so I will let you know if that is actually done....

I bought a Cartier watch in Spain last year and it was cheaper but the stock was very very limited.

The Panthere and Caresse d'Orchidees are two of my favourite Cartier lines :D

I love the Panthere collection ... especially the ring and the pendant... You should compare prices between the us and europe. Uk has increased the VAT to 20%
By the way Cartier website is very user friendly, you can request the price of any item and they will reply to your email within minutes

The US Price is $9650 ....for the YG ....good God its very expensive hence the saving up for so looooooong......and the anxiety in taking the plunge....but it sgoing to happen!!
