What do we all think of Cartier bags? I just got this Cartier pantere bag second hand and it’s brand new but not sure how I’m feeling about it. Is it giving old vintage vibes? I know it’s vintage of course. But is it old looking?? If that makes sense?

Do I return it or keep it?

Are you excited about it and can't wait to wear it out? Are you enjoying thinking through different outfits with it? If The answer is yes, enjoy your new bag! If The answer is that you're not sure, maybe consider returning? There's nothing more annoying than realizing you don't want it after the return window had closed...

I was telling my daughter the same thing I wish there was no folds in the front.
I agree with @A bottle of Red

The gold panther is fabulous, so stylish with it's clean lines......if the bag complimented that aesthetic it would a winner, but the folded leather on the front makes it rather fuddy duddy, in my eyes, a little heavy and not as pleasing to the eye as it could have been.

Mind you, to be fair, it was produced in different times so it has a different vibe......now it just depends on whether it vibes with you? I think that you are not convinced because you state that you wish there were no folds on the front.

I love it too, but the outfit is not making it show its best. it's a smart, semi-formal, smart casual bag 1. not a Summer bag 2. it's not harmonious with your natural, flowy dress.

If you styled it with sharper/minimalist/formal/narrower lines I think it would be a winner. Even jeans an a sweater would be fine. The bag is like city-finery and statement jewellery; let it be the star of the show. Obviously, if what you're wearing represents your most typical everyday style then I'd rethink the bag.

I love the bag. I’d do jeans and a t shirt with it

If you want something flowy, maybe slowly pants or skirt and a crisp button down…. Or something soft but tailored like a poplin shirt dress… Have fun experimenting

Thank you. The outfit I’m wear is just what I had on when the bag came in the mail 😂 I wouldn’t wear it with that
