I have an extra 10k to spend this year ..I keep going back and forth can you help?

Should I finish my Cartier stack with a small love and small juc? I have a full sized love.

Should I buy a Rolex? I have always liked the all silver diamond mop. I have a sporty YM and two tone datejust 31.

The waiting game for Rolex watches at ADs right now is crazy, you won’t be able to get your desired watch immediately. It’s almost like waiting for a Birkin at a Hermes boutique. Your best bet if you want a Rolex watch pronto is to get it 2nd hand. You’re probably better off completing your Cartier stack if you’re not up for the Rolex waiting game.

Rolex from an AD, hands down... Yes, you may have to wait, but it shouldn't be too long - at least it wasn't a long wait for mine... I ordered my Rolex late-November 2021. It came in end of Jan 2022. I got 31mm two tone date just, jubilee band, MOP with diamond bezel. My only other purchase from this AD was my Cartier Panthere with diamonds (roughly a 11k purchase). So, it's not like I had a long purchase history with this AD prior to ordering my Rolex....

However, we are on the WL also for a platinum Rolex Daytona or President for my husband, which we also did in late-Nov... we will likely be waiting for that one 1-2+ years :sad:

If you can find the Rolex you want at an AD, with the current situation with Rolex I’d say that’s the smarter buy, BUT, shopping Cartier right now is more fun and less stressful. Trying to find something in certain brands feels more like work these days, and kind of ruins it for me. Personally I have a Rolex that I love, so if it were me I’d enjoyably fill the holes you have in other areas.

Are small Loves and Lady Datejusts same price range?

I love my small Love (I have regular too) but I don’t love Lady sized Rolex…. But they’re not same price, right?

Do you prefer your small or regular?

The lady datejust is more money for sure. Those are just two items on my wish list. I do think i would want the watch first but im also impatient to wait

I can’t say I prefer one over the other. I am one of the rare folks that does love the small Love! But having both, I couldn’t choose. I recommend trying them on. I got the small Love with diamonds first and loved it in its own, before being gifted the regular with diamonds. I like dainty jewelry so the small looked great imo.
I don’t care for the Lady datejust size though.

Oh ok thanks! Yes i guess trying it on will definitely help. I have small wrists so i thought the small might look better but I dont have petite hands in my opinion so I will definitely try.

How come you dont like the lady datejust? Too small? It sounds like there are zero available at all the AD i called so might have to go with a cartier!

I have little wrists too, so I LOVE the small Juc and small Love :heart:
A lot of members here don’t like the smalls, but I love them!
I like the small and regular Love equally, but prefer the small Juc over the regular on me.

I don’t know really… I love small and delicate jewelry but just haven’t ever liked the aesthetic of the smaller lady sizes watches since about 2000 or so. I like the 31 a lot, as even on a small wrist, it’s not overly large, but it’s not an oversized trend either.
