I can't believe this got through Cartier quality control. I bought this small JUC from the online boutique to go with my new small love, and this is what they sent me. As soon as I unboxed it today I could see the scratches. It is literally covered in scratches. It looks like it was worn against another bracelet for some time! I have to wonder if "influencers" buy these bracelets and then return them. I can't believe they would accept this as a return! I gave them a piece of my mind on the phone, and they assured me that the JUC should be completely polished and not gouged and scratched by someone else. I've returned for a replacement, but it has soured the experience.

omg, that's quite a bit of wear! I have ordered two pieces from the online boutique and thankfully both were in pristine condition! But after seeing this post, it makes a tad hesitant for the future.... on the bright side, at least Cartier stood behind you and replaced without any hassle vs. blaming the wear on you or whatnot  Good luck on your replacement

They still have to process the replacement, but over the phone they said they would replace. I have not yet received the replacement, and I hope it's a new/unworn piece. I recommend taking many photos if anyone has this happen. They have such a strict return policy of no wear that I'm still really shocked that they accepted this one as a return, but stuff happens!

the same thing happened with me recently when I ordered the thin JUC in size 17. I'm not sure what is going on with Cartier but I probably won't be ordering online again. They replaced mine as well but the lady on the phone really told me 'I've worked here for 5 years and never came across a case like this' even though there have been multiple stories here and on YouTube about people getting used jewelry from Cartier it sucks for people who don't have a Cartier near them.

In a much less expensive way, the same thing happened to me with one of their keychains. It came all scratched up and supposedly was the last keychain in the US, so I suspect it was a floor model. I know keychains will obviously scratch, but I'm not about to pay full Cartier prices for a piece that comes scratched. I had the delivery receipt that stated time of delivery and then my photos were time stamped 20 mins after delivery, so that helped. They did eventually refund me but it took quite some time.

Wow, that is really shocking! I haven't bought online, just in my local boutique. My SA know I like brand new untouched products whenever possible. Really astonishing that they even took something back that has clearly been worn a significant amount. Hoping they correct this situation for you soon!

Wow that's so bad!! I was reading on the Cartier fb group that some people wear their bracelets a bit to see how the sizing is, and then they want to return it because the sizing isn't right, but then others point out that it's been worn already so they shouldn't return. I doubt some people care.

I know people who would buy Chanel bags, wear it a bit, and then return it after. I'm honestly shocked about how people have so little integrity.

It’s surprising they would take it back with signs of wear.
