So, I went to purchase my first Cartier today.

Since there was a scratch on the ring, I will get a new ring tomorrow.
So, I purchased it (ie. Made full payment already) but didn't get the official hard cover certificate.

My SA said getting the official certificate with hard cover depends on the Location - this sounds weird.

I always assumed that every Cartier purchase comes with official certificate with hard cover booklet? (see the picture I got from internet)

FYI, I bought this piece at Cartier Harrods' store in London UK

So every Cartier purchase comes with the official certificate right?
Maybe SA misunderstood what I asked or maybe I will get the official certificate when I actually get the ring tomorrow...?

Do you mean you are getting a paper certificate without a red hardcover, or no certificate at all? The certificate will have the number from the ring on it, she probably won't know the number until she has the ring in hand and can see it.

Oh wow! I was hanging out in Harrods today too!!

Every purchase has a certificate...and what another poster said up there is right. SA can't write you a cert until they actually receive the item...
