Cartier Love - thinking about purchasing a pre loved..

I would love to buy a new one - maybe one day but right now I'd be happy with a pre loved. Hubby has given me a budget around 3500. I'm looking for a WG size 17. Is that reasonable? Would I be able to get one for 3500?

I was looking on ebay and the seller brandoff has one for 3500. I've never ordered from Japan before so I'm not sure how the tax is calculated.

It wasn't until I came across this board and saw all these beautiful pictures of the Love that I fell in with it.

I was actually at the Cartier store on Friday but I was really turned off by the SA. I walked in to an empty store with three SA. One was on the phone and the other two were talking to each other. I asked one of the SA if I could take a look at the Love bracelet. She didn't seem too excited. She said since the ones they have on display are new she didn't want to 'handle' them. Instead she gave me the cuff to try on. Not sure if that was the norm but I was expecting be able to try the bracelet on

Yeah, Cartier SAs can be like that. It's not uncommon to not be allowed to try them on though. Usually they just offer sizers unless you're actually purchasing. I don't have any experience with buying one preloved, but some ladies here have. I'm sure you'll get some helpful responses. I hope you find your Love soon!

I'm not sure if I would like the cuff as much as the bracelet. Maybe I'll have to ask the husband to up my budget
