Hi! I have two singles. I had one stud that I wore for 4 years solo in my 3rd hole and then last Feb picked up it's mate during travel abroad since it was a little cheaper. I wear them together as a set now. The singles have screw back closures with a tiny ball as opposed to the set which has traditional Cartier earring backing. The screw back with ball is both a pro and con..... Pro - it's very comfortable to sleep in, feels secure. Con - it sometime can be a pain to take out and screw back on if you like to change your earrings often. Hope that helps!Has anybody purchased 2 of the single Love studs and worn them as a set before? It would much appreciated if you can please share any pros and cons that you have experienced with doing this.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience. With the screw back, does that mean the earrings will fall forwards if the stump is too long and the ball does not fit snug next to the ear?Hi! My husband wears it solo as he has only 1 earhole.Thank you so much for sharing your experience. With the screw back, does that mean the earrings will fall forwards if the stump is too long and the ball does not fit snug next to the ear?
Did you have to pay the second time?I can confirm that Cartier will adjust posts length per your request I just had it done for my earrings. I would caution you to measure very carefully and take into consideration the screw on part's width. I've adjusted mine too short and it was uncomfortable, I had to send them back for service again (to lengthen this time).
Yes they fall forward a bit but only if I wear in my first piercing (main lobe). Currently I have them in my 3rd holes and no issues. Guess that part of my ear is a little thicker hahaha! As others have mentioned, Cartier will shorten posts for you complimentary.Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I didn't, I think I'm my case it wasn't entirely my fault. I worked with a service specialist who made the calculation and didn't take into account the width of the backing.Did you have to pay the second time?
Because I once stupidly adjusted a bracelet too short and had to pay to extend it by 2 or 3 links![]()
Oh is it complimentary? When I asked the Cartier customer service number, they said it was chargeable? I’m in Australia though.Yes they fall forward a bit but only if I wear in my first piercing (main lobe). Currently I have them in my 3rd holes and no issues. I asked another customer service rep and she said what you said - complimentary the first time and chargeable the second. And shortening the post is considered a re-sizing. Funny how you get different responses from different people.I tried going to my country's website to search for the re-sizing/adjustment services.
It's complimentary for the first time and SGD265(!) for the subsequent time.
It was just $180 last year wow!
Yes, in the US complimentary. Same with shortening necklace chains.Oh is it complimentary? When I asked the Cartier customer service number, they said it was chargeable? I’m in Australia though.
