Hi! I recently got a Cartier love, and I feel that the edges are quite sharp. Is this normal? The SA said it should wear down with time, but wanted to know how long that will take from your experiences? I'm wondering I should get it polished to round the edges out a bit. Thanks!

This is normal and will go away in no time. Don’t polish your bracelet for something that will fix itself since you lose gold with every polish.

Yes! It is very sharp when new. And the screws scratch too. I would have gone with a more fitted size if it weren't for the screws. I even tried putting band aids on them for an afternoon. It felt much better but didn't stick so I sized up just because of the screws. LOL.

I borrowed older love and it was so soft. I think it was polished at some point.

They are a bit sharp when new, but over time as it rubs up against various things things and gets a few scratches, the edges will be a less sharp. I would never advise someone to polish a Love bracelet, unless they absolutely have to. Polishing the edges will change the profile of the bracelet, and it may get even rounder when it starts to wear naturally. I also never polish a bracelet because every time you do that you loose some gold, and it will eventually scratch as one wears it anyway. My suggestion is live with it for a while before polishing it, and if it still bothers you have it polished. Wishing you lots of luck with it.
