I purchased my first love ring yesterday I got the classic one in yellow. I was between sizes 48/49. I chose the 48 since I didnt like it slidding up and down my finger. I wore it in my sleep and woke up with sore finger and cant hardly take it out. My question, how strick is Cartier when it comes to exchange? This is the first ring I bought for myself and obviously not knowledgeable of factors to consider.. I live in Honolulu so its always warm temp. It make sense now why the 49 felt so loose in the store than the 48 because of the strong aircondition the boutique have

I had no trouble exchanging a Juste un Clou ring for the same reason

When I brought my first ring, I was also stuck deciding between sizes.

My hands swell a lot when it’s hot and become very thin/bony in the cold. My rings are always too tight in summer or too lose in winter.

If you have the same problem, my solutions:
- buy rings that fit my middle finger in the Summer, then wear them on my bigger index finger when it’s cold (only works with some styles, I wouldn’t wear a solitaire on my index but I do it with Love Rings)
- buy a plain, inexpensive gold band in a smaller size, and stack this on top of the bigger sized ring in the winter. It blocks the bigger ring and prevents it from sliding off.

Initially I was thinking that a Love ring will feel the same as some others but as the edges are rather sharp I wouldn´t wear mine 24/7. On the other hand if it´s too lose it will fall off. From a comfort´s perspective a Love ring is *way* more comfortable than a Trinity but less than a Panthère - which btw. is the most comfortable (and expensive and elegant) I´ve ever owned.

My jeweler told me that during the night fingers swell and contract and will change size over time from this, so she warned me not to wear rings overnight. She said she's had to cut rings off many clients who wore them continuously.

That's true for all rings. I am shocked some mornings when not being able to get them on. Cutting off rings in contrast has more to do with Mc Donald's rather than sleeping.

Hi everyone ❤️
I was hoping for some help. I currently own a few bracelets, one Cartier love ring and wedding band. I was considering on purchasing this item preowned to stack. None of my items, I purchased from store has the bottom right hallmark, with the star and numbers, I was wondering if this is normal in some love rings?
