I’ve been lusting after this ring for a year now. It seems now this ring only comes from eBay especially Japanese sellers.
On True Facet, I’ve seen ones that are YG/ WG or RG/ WG.

I would trust mainly the Japanese resellers. If I recall correctly, they have lots more rigorous laws or regulations about counterfeits so that’s one less worry to think about.
I honestly have considered trying to see if a local jeweler can make a similar design.

Also on the Japanese resellers, check their reviews. Most, if not all, of them have hundreds of positive reviews.

I echo the sentiment about Japanese resellers specifically, and there are a handful on eBay.
I agree. Cartier's customer service is incredible also. I would buy the ring from the most trusted seller you can find. Then send it in to Cartier for polishing or engraving. They will charge you a fee, but it will confirm authenticity and you will have your ring without second guesses.
I can't really help but I have the two band version which I bought at Cartier VIP sales long ago, as it was being discontinued. I wish you the best of luck finding an authentic set you are comfortable with.

It’s so hard to find pre owned ones in my sizes though. I guess that’s either shows that the owners of the discontinued design love their rings and will never let go out of them or that they weren’t as popular as the current designs.
I have a couple of old discontinued pieces from when I began as a young client of the Maison. I am guessing Cartier didn't make as many pieces per design, of those previous collections as they do now.
Found one! for 3500 but they will sell it to me for 2800. My 50th bday is coming up! Should I just bite the bullet and get it!?!?!?!??!?!?!?! I can always pass it on to my daughter!

OKAY! Bit the bullet and BOUGHT THE RING because I have 2 significant events happening this year, 1st is my daughter is graduating college AND I am turning 50! I feel like it was meant to be and it was the right size.
